Who We Are

Our family-run business has a long tradition in the industry. Twin Creeks Nursery and Greenhouses is part of the Ginter Family Farm that was established in 1919 by Jacob and Frances Ginter. Twin Creeks was named for the two creeks, Carter and Little Roche-a-Cri that run through the property. The original greenhouse that was built in the mid-1990's is a state of the art Tibetan Harnois. It is a 5 in 1 greenhouse that has two roofs that can be opened for better ventilation. There is an indoor water feature located at the nursery that attract much attention. Our business has grown over the years and have added more plant space, services and products to offer you. A majority of our plants are Proven Winner brand. You can also find Twin Creeks every Saturday in May and June on the Capitol Square in Madison for the farmer's market.
When do you open?

We are here starting the first week in March, so stop in anytime the gate is open.

Are you close to town?

Yes! We are located 3 miles from Friendship.

How long does your guarantee last?

Our guarantee is good for one full year from date of purchase. Must have guarantee AND dead plant in order for exchange.

Do you do custom planting of baskets and planters?

We sure do. Bring in your personal container and we will plant them up. Pick out what you'd like in there or talk to us about ideas if you are not sure that you's like. Don't have a container yet? Come choose from our pre-planted combos and baskets.

Do you carry bulk black dirt and mulch?

Yes we do. We can load your truck or deliver black dirt and hard wood mulch. We can deliver at a three yard minimum plus delivery fee.

What else can I find at your place?

Besides having bedding plants, hanging baskets, planters, perennials, shribs, and fruit, shade, and ornamental trees we carry Deer repellant, seeds, potting mix, top soil, cow manure, bagged and bulk mulch, SuperMoss birdhouses and plated purses. And don't forget about our Geranium house filled with Fuchsia baskets and the best Geraniums around.

Ginter Christmas Trees
Come visit us November and December for all you holiday needs. We offer Christmas Trees, Wreaths 20" all the way up to 60", Swags, all sorts of centerpieces, including combos in Surreal Planters, and lighted glass blocks. Near Madison? No problem, we attend the Dane County Farmers Market in the Monona Terrace on Saturday's.
